Gender pay gap reporting – updates

Our gender pay gap page now includes new information on calculating data and a Capsticks briefing document. Registering to upload your reports can take several days, so make sure you leave enough time to meet the 31 March deadline.

Overtime and holiday pay 

Recent tribunal and court decisions have had an impact on calculations for holiday pay, particular around payment of overtime. Our new briefing outlines these milestone cases and their impact for employers in the NHS.

Figures highlight 'heroic' work under 'intolerable pressure'

Read the Confed's summary of last week's NHS performance figures, released by NHS Improvement. Confed chair Niall Dickson commended NHS staff for doing a "heroic job" but said the numbers "reflect the intolerable pressure" that the service is under.

Tackling sickness absence
